Kingston Sofabeds and Sofas

Kingston only use the finest mechanisms in their sofa beds and it is recognised that a two-fold slatted mechanism (see picture a left) makes the most comfortable sprung mattress available. A two-fold mechanism ensures that the mattress is only folded once rather than twice, as is the case on cheaper and inferior mechanisms. Every mechanism is finished using hard wearing silver paint to ensure lifelong protection. The webbing at the foot end of the bed becomes the platform for the seating when in the closed postion.

All their sofa beds (except Aztec) are supplied with a fully sprung 13½ gauge mattress (see picture b left), with comfort layers of hypo-allergenic bonded polyester encased in an attractive cover which is then tufted to ensure maximum comfort and durability.

For customers requiring the ultimate in luxury, Kingston offer an upgrade to a visco-elastic foam mattress (see picture c right). The top layer of sumptuous slow recovery foam is encased in a soft velour cover which can be unzipped and removed for easy cleaning.
